WASTE HEAT RECOVERY

There are various sources of waste heat in industries such as furnaces, ovens, compressors, chillers and so on. Heat recovery solutions can reduce usage of fossil fuels and electric heaters significantly. In some cases, as much of 90% of fuel requirements have been eliminated. Apart from reducing fuel costs and eliminating dependence on fossil fuels, these solutions can also help in improving the efficiency of the existing processes.

For example, in air compressors, 80% of the input energy is wasted in the form of heat. This waste heat can be recovered, from the cooling oil, for hot water/air generation required for other processes. This solution also helps in increasing compressor efficiencies by conditioning the oil temperatures since excess heat is removed from the coolant oil.
